CONTROL IDEOLOGY IN CE-HPS SOLUTION
Using Deepsea’s DSEM870 as the main control in CE-HPS controlling the other local control (DSE 8610-Diesel Genset & Sungrow Inv –Solar smart inverter), the solution provides cost efficient energy from the hybrid solar/diesel genset system where mains (utility) power is unavailable.

Remote places such as islands or mines are often located outside of the national electricity grid reach and therefore, have to use their own micro-grids to generate electricity. Usually these micro-grids rely heavily on diesel gensets. However, when the gensets are combined with renewable energy sources such as wind turbines or solar panels we speak about hybrid systems. With hybrid systems two goals are always crucial - save fuel and keep the system reliability.
Thanks to its advanced functions designed specifically for hybrid systems CE-HPS can maximize the amount of energy from renewables while not endangering the system stability.
DIESEL / GAS + SOLAR / WIND / HYDRO = ENERGY
Figure below shows solar hybrid example for a 24-hour period in a solar hybrid installation. The site’s main hours of operation are between the hours of 7am and 7pm with minimum power needed overnight for maintenance and security equipment. During daylight hours solar provides up to 70% of their energy requirements.
NET ENERGY METERING
NEM or Net Energy Metering is a mechanism for you to use solar energy that you produced for your own consumption. The excess energy generated will be exported to TNB grid and will be turned to credit that may be used to offset part of the electricity bill
